Toronto FC breaks drought

Yesterday, Toronto FC finally broke its five-game goal drought in it's first season in Major League Soccer, prompting an avalanche of white seat cushions onto the pitch at BMO Field.

The Frisbee-like discs had been handed out free to every fan upon entry.

In fact, every significant event during yesterday's scrappy victory over the Chicago Fire was met with a shower of seat cushions.

"I loved it," coach Mo Johnston said of the multitude of downy missiles. "The only thing was I got hit in the face with one right at the end."
