Orient resist West Ham move with free tickets

Leyton Orient chairman Barry Hearn today announced the club will stay at their current Brisbane Road ground should they be unsuccessful in their bid to groundshare at the Olympic Stadium.

The League One side have been linked with a move away from the Leyton area in light of West Ham's move to the London 2012 stadium.

Hearn is continuing his legal battle in pursuit of a groundshare with West Ham but, should that fail, he says Orient will stay put.

Hearn is also giving away 1,500 free season tickets to youngsters and students in a bid to create a new generation of Orient supporters.

He said: "I'm proud to announce this initiative that I hope will be the dawning of a new era for this football club.
