God bless her

The Queen will present the FA Cup on May 19 at the first final to be held at the new £800 million Wembley Stadium. It will be the first time she has attended the FA Cup final since 1976.

Ten years earlier, she was at the old Wembley for English football’s finest hour when she presented the Jules Rimet Trophy to World Cup-winning captain Bobby Moore.

The Queen will be joined at the final by a host of dignitaries, including Prime Minister Tony Blair. Former England managers and players will also be part of the celebrations.
