£5.2 mill

Michael Owens' World Cup injury will cost Newcastle a staggering £5.2million.

The England striker ruptured his cruciate knee ligament against Sweden last year and has not played for the Magpies since.

Newcastle put in a compensation claim to FIFA for £6.2m but president Sepp Blatter has revealed they will recieve just £1m.
