Hiddink
Dutch prosecutors have asked for a 10-month prison sentence for Russia coach Guus Hiddink, who is accused of tax fraud, a prosecution spokesman said yesterday. Hiddink has denied any wrongdoing in the case, which dates from 2002-03.
Prosecutors alleged Hiddink evaded paying £900,000 in Dutch taxes during that period by claiming a tax home in Belgium when he was actually living in Eindhoven.
