Terry
John Terry lifted the Carling Cup last night after a remarkable recovery from a horror injury and said: “I’m OK.”
The Chelsea skipper was knocked unconscious at 4.11pm after being kicked in the face by Arsenal’s Abou Diaby.
But after discharging himself from hospital in Cardiff he was back at the Millennium Stadium at 5.58.
There he joined in the party to celebrate the victory with relieved team-mates who cheered as he as he held the Carling Cup aloft in the dressing room.
