Arsëne Wenger has risked incurring the wrath of Thierry Henry by declaring that the Arsenal captain will play no part in next weekend’s Carling Cup final against Chelsea.

Henry will return to the side for today’s FA Cup fifth-round tie against Blackburn Rovers, but he will not be involved when Arsenal seek to win their first trophy in two years at the Millennium Stadium.
