Wayne Rooney's little brother John, 16, turned out for Macclesfield Town’s youth team this weekend.

Rooney Jnr came off the bench to inspire a 7-1 win over Stalybridge Celtic.

An onlooker said: “John’s a hard-running player who doesn’t take prisoners. He has his brother’s characteristics.”

Wayne broke his left foot against Reading in front of 75,000 while John had 50 onlookers.
