Fab's men won't learn English

Fabio Capello’s Italian coaching team have stuck two fingers up at the English.

The FA have spent £30million in hiring Capello, Franco Baldini, Massimo Neri, Italo Galbiati and Franco Tancredi.

But the new Three Lions chief’s pals want to snub living in England — and cannot be bothered to learn the lingo.

Capello’s No 2 Galbiati, 70, will play a crucial role in getting messages through to the players.
But Galbiati said: “Now I have got to learn English — it will be a real hassle. Maybe I’ll leave it to the others.”

Fitness guru Neri added: “We will only go to England during the squad get-togethers. We’re not dealing with a team with which you have to work on a daily basis.”

Capello’s assistants will rake in £1.5million but Neri expects FA chief executive Brian Barwick to bow to the demands.

That would mean only Capello and off-pitch assistant Baldini are on English soil permanently.
