Apam was released unharmed after a 45-minute ordeal but the three-man armed gang took his Honda Accord car.

Apam, who turned 22 yesterday, was returning from a church service when the incident took place.

He said : 'They forced me to lie down at the back of the car and then they drove off. I just thank God that I was not harmed in any way.'
