Probably the Best Marketing Move in the World

When Havant & Waterlooville played Liverpool in the FA Cup this year, both were sponsored by Carlsberg.

Havant & Waterlooville opted to have 'Probably' instead of 'Carlsberg' on the front of their yellow shirts, in what was most likely a marketing move driven by Carlsberg's slogan, 'Probably the best beer in the world'.

Under UEFA sponsorship rules if both teams have the same sponsor, one has to be altered so that those watching the game don’t think that company were sponsoring the whole competition.

There is no such rule in place for English domestic competitions though.
