Keeper escapes ban
Leeds United breathed a sigh of relief last night when goalkeeper Casper Ankergren was let off with a £750 fine by the FA.
Ankergren had pleaded guilty to throwing a cigarette lighter into the crowd after the Swindon match and the club feared a lengthy ban but after a personal hearing, he was fined and warned as to his future conduct.
