World Cup winner Sir Geoff Hurst is backing Germany in the European Championships and will be cheering them on at a glittering soccer festival on Saturday night.

"I don't mind admitting it, they are a great footballing nation. And Germany's a great country as well," said Hurst, who scored a hat-trick against Germany in the 1966 World Cup final.
