Arsenal cash in
Arsenal are set to get a £2.5m cash windfall thanks to trophy bonuses - even though they have not won any silverware.
Former Gunners midfielder Cesc Fabregas had an add-ons in his deal when he was sold to Barcelona who have clinched the Spanish title.
Fabregas is believed to have earned Arsenal around £2m.
Even Hull's former Gunners striker Jay Simpson had a £500,000 promotion add-on clause after helping his club reach the Premier League.
The 24-year-old Simpson is a product of the Arsenal academy, though he only actually made three appearances for the Gunners.
