A die-hard Manchester United fan has given new boss David Moyes the ultimate seal of approval - by carving his face into a melon.

Artist and chef David Loh, or 'the Melon Man', spent two days on his creation, which he claims is a fitting tribute for 'a taste of something different'.

David, from Malaysia, is now setting to work on a melon for each player before the changeover on July 1.

He hopes the team, with both outgoing and incoming managers, will travel down to his Birmingham restaurant, Gemini, to see their portraits - and taste his 'Manchester United flavoured menu', which features unusual and powerful ingredients.
