Latics celebrated famous Cup win with a crate of Irn Bru
Roberto Martinez has demanded his Wigan players follow up their FA Cup heroics with a 'perfect' performance at Arsenal to preserve their top-flight status - and they won’t have a traditional Cup hangover to contend with.
The Wigan manager insisted no alcohol was drunk after the club’s spectacular 1-0 victory over Manchester City at Wembley and, thanks to the Scottish contingent at the club, a crate of Irn Bru was delivered to the changing room after the win.
Though Wigan have spent the last 48 hours basking in the glow of their incredible 1-0 win, results in the Barclays Premier League on Sunday have left them teetering on the brink of relegation.
