Cisse sent to train alone
Papiss Cisse has been forced to train by himself as the Wonga shirt sponsorship row continues to disrupt the harmony at Newcastle.
The Senegal striker turned up to training on Saturday to join his team-mates but was banished to the gym.
Cisse, a Muslim, has offered to wear a charity logo on his shirt and training gear instead of Wonga's, because on religious grounds he does not want to benefit from a money lending company.
Some of the other practising Muslims at the club, including Hatem Ben Arfa, have been training wearing the shirts.
Newcastle announced a £24million, four-year deal with lender Wonga last year. Under Sharia law, Muslims must not benefit from lending money.
