New York Red Bulls to pay fans to stop swearing
Thierry Henry’s side the New York Red Bulls are resorting to bribery in order to stop fans chanting profanity during goal kicks.
The MLS giants have grown so fed up with the ‘You suck a*******’ chant that has for some reason become a fixture at soccer grounds all over America, that they’re now willing to pay off rude fans in order to appease sponsors and TV network bosses.
‘The team has notified its three fan groups - the Empire Supporters Club, the Garden State Ultras and the Viking Army - that $500 will be contributed to each for every home game during which "YSA" isn’t heard in Red Bull Arena’s South Ward.
