Jerome fined £50,000 and severely warned over betting on football
Stoke striker Cameron Jerome has been fined £50,000, subject to appeal, and severely warned over future conduct, after admitting breaches of FA betting rules.
The 27-year-old was also warned as to his future conduct after admitting repeat breaches of the regulations. He has the right to appeal against the sanction.
A statement on the FA's website read: 'Stoke City's Cameron Jerome has been fined £50,000, subject to any appeal, following an Independent Regulatory Commission hearing.
