Moyes forced to watch 'injured' Rooney start for England
David Moyes watched Wayne Rooney, who had been deemed injured and therefore unfit to play in any of Manchester United's pre-season games, start for England from ITV's Wembley studio.
Manchester United's new manager was a pundit for England's clash with Scotland at Wembley on Wednesday night and was asked about Rooney.
The 27-year-old striker missed the Community Shield match on Sunday against Wigan allegedly through injury, but Roy Hodgson pronounced him fit for England just 24 hours later.
