Spurs fans offered chance to swap old Gareth Bale shirts for free burger
A London restaurant is offering glum Tottenham fans a chance to get over losing Gareth Bale to Real Madrid this week - by swapping their old Bale shirts for a premium burger.
The Diner eatery has come up with the plan following Bale’s world-record £85million transfer to Real in the last few days.
Any sad supporters can get a perfect pick-me-up by taking along their old Bale Tottenham shirts to The Diner in the capital’s Soho district and exchanging it for some comfort food, with a free burger up for grabs.
The jersey amnesty runs until Saturday September 7, meaning Spurs fans can rid of all their Bale reminders and enjoy a meaty treat before their clash with Norwich after the international break.
