Santa Fe forget kit for Colombian league match

As happens from time to time, Independiente Santa Fe travelled 90-odd miles across up the road for their recent Colombian Primera Division A game against Boyaca Chico having forgotten to pack their away strip.

Thankfully, their kitman had been able to source a team’s worth of counterfeit Santa Fe replica shirts from the local market in Tunja during the first 45 minutes of the game, buying 10 knock-off jerseys at 12,000 pesos (about £4) a piece along with one big, red, chisel-tip marker to scrawl the players’ numbers on the back.
