The Brazilian is set to be dropped from tomorrow’s Champions League clash with Schalke - reportedly after senior team-mates complained about his lax approach.

Luiz was criticised by TV pundits for pulling out of an important challenge during the St James’ Park loss.

And the reports claim that his laidback attitude in general was not appreciated by his team-mates.
