Dortmund forced to install ‘pigeon dropping defence system’
The home of Borussia Dortmund is far from perfect, with the ground struggling with a pigeon problem in recent months.
The feathery creatures love nothing more than hanging around on top of the stadium, and firing their dropping on fans and the coaching staff below.
The problem has become so bad that Dortmund are now ready to spend big on a new ‘pigeon defence system’.
According to the local media, the club will be spending thousands of pounds on 20 pyramid shaped mirrors that will reflect light.
They will be placed all over the ground in the hope that pigeons get confused and flock away.
The plan has been drawn up by experts, and construction work is set to begin in the coming days to get the mirrors all setup.
