Luis Suarez’s new Liverpool contract ‘includes exit clause’

Liverpool striker Luis Suarez’s bumper new contract includes the exit clause that he mistakenly believed was included in his previous contract.

The Uruguayan star’s non-existent buy-out clause led to Arsenal’s farcical £40,000,001 bid for him in the summer.

Although the Reds are rejoicing their star’s decision to sign a new four-and-a-half your deal, today’s reports claim that it will be easier for him to engineer a move elsewhere with his new contract.

Suarez is said to now have the right to negotiate if Real Madrid or Barcelona make an offer for him in the summer.

While he is likely to reject those advances if Liverpool were to mount a serious title challenge, he could still quit Anfield if Brendan Rodgers’ side drop out of the Champions League places before the end of the season.
