Colombia president gives whole country half-day off
The president of Colombia has called a national holiday so that people can cheer on their country in the World Cup clash against Brazil.
Colombian workers will only have to work half a day tomorrow, as James Rodriguez and co. prepare for the first quarter-final clash in their history.
To mark the occasion, Santos declared: ‘I want to announce to all government workers that, by civic decree, Friday afternoon will be a public holiday so that everyone can watch the game.’
